In October, 2010, The America Team for Displaced Eritreans interviewed a number
of Eritrean refugees just after their arrival in Addis Ababa from the jails of Egypt.

In October, 2010, The America Team for Displaced Eritreans interviewed a number
of Eritrean refugees just after their arrival in Addis Ababa from the jails of Egypt.
These poor folks describe the details of the human trafficking process involving
Eritrean security forces, the Rashaida and Bedouin gangs, who all trade and
move the refugees for payment from other traffickers and from the refugees
themselves. They describe the abuse and inhuman treatment they have received,
and relate how many have been killed or maimed for no good reason at all.
The America Team is pleased to reveal this situation and the process of human
trafficking and abuse, as described by the victims themselves.
The America Team has just produced and released a 1½-hour DVD with candid and
spontaneous interview responses, all in Tigrinya. We plan to produce an English version later this year.
The DVD is being distributed in various parts of the USA by members of the Board
of Directors, Sr, Members, Members, and representatives.
